Sound Design
FILM Scoring
Role: Composition, Production, Performance
Brief: Compose a score for Iris Vetter’s short film ‘Between Time’. Iris was keen that the score was full of questions and hesitation to reflect the film’s subjects, offering few answers and leaving open ends. I performed and recorded piano, supported by light production touches.
Mixing
Role: Audio Engineering, Recording, Mixing.
Brief: For Dutch folk trio Phemian, I recorded two songs on location and mixed them for video. Above is one of the resulting clips.

RECORDING + PRoduction
Role: Recording Engineer, Producer, Instrumentalist
Brief: On her debut EP ‘Silhouettes’, I worked with singer-songwriter Rosa Vendel over several months. After defining her vision together, I arranged instrumental parts, hired players, set up and led recording sessions and even performed dulcimer, synth and organ myself. Once the production was tight, I handed it over to my collaborators Erwin Tuijl to mix, and Wessel Oltheten to master.
Role: Sound Design, Foley, Music Cues
Brief: Support the storytelling with sensitive sound design, foley and music cues. The project needed a fast turnaround, so I used royalty-free music for the cues and focused my attention on foley and sound design.
